Visiting the UVA campus and wanted something close to specialty coffee. This location offers limited seating but a great variety of espresso and non-espresso based drinks made with a decent blend of beans. Worth a visit!
A pleasure to have grit in the building! Great coffee/espresso and good pastries. More comfy chairs is my only suggestion.

Coffee was amazing (5 stars), Food was sub-par (2 stars), so overall the place isn't the best nor the worst. If you go here, get drinks only. I've had both their brownie and their Breakfast sandwich before. Both are mediocre at best. I've also had their Mocha, and those are extremely well made.
