Whenever I come to Charlottesville, I make it a point to stop at Grit for a mocha. Their mochas are outstanding! The other thing I appreciate is they have places for people to sit and work or read. It seems like so many commercial shops have gotten away from being that 3rd place for people. Besides the coffee being good, Grit is just a comfortable place to be!
To the team here who always makes my day a little brighter, thank you so much for the lovely service, no matter what day I come in or who I see. Yall churn out the best dang coffee in town and I am so grateful for it!

Coolest coffee shop in Cville by far! The coffee is INCREDIBLE (Night Shift is my all time favorite), and the atmosphere is perfect to grind out some work, catch up with friends, or do your introvert thing with the best cup of coffee in town. Would give 10 stars if I could!
