I really appreciate this place. I come here all the time for the amazing burgers and best fries and onion rings in town. But!! Ive been away for a month and the seat is still half detached and won’t stay up- Which I imagine makes it really hard for the crowd of beer drinkers to keep it clean, eh?? And the poor ladies that have to sit on a wee wee seat:( The staff say they have told the management but…? 🙄

Hogwaller is of the best places in Cville and neighborhood breweries of all time. The beer is solid 🤩, the food is great, and the service is excellent.

I’ve been coming here for years since they opened and love the welcoming / cozy atmosphere, awesome people that work here, community that you can connect to, and outdoor proximity to the Rivanna.

A perfect Charlottesville spot for meeting up with friends, decompressing, and pretending...

I'm always a huge fan of Hogwaller. The Riff-Raff special on Monday evenings is one of the best deals in C'Ville and I can't recommend it enough. I'm honestly a bit stunned (but, selfishly, am pleased) that college students don't swarm the place on Monday nights; I know I would have as a college kid!
