Great experience at Hogwaller. Service was better than you typically see at a brewery. Food was very good, particularly evidenced by how many people were rolling up just to get the food to go. Beers were excellent. So much so, that I got a 2nd flight, which I normally don’t do. Very small on the inside, but a very cool vibe. I don’t live in Charlottesville, but if I did, I would be a regular. PS, I loved the quirky names of their beers.

My wife and I met our friends there. It was our first time and the food was good and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time.

Unfortunately our friends were not as lucky. They ordered before us yet we got ours first. No big deal except another 15 minutes went by. They went to check the order and were told that two orders were in front of them, somehow, apparently they had no idea how orders were handled in the kitchen. Another 20 minutes went by and...

The first time I had some beer instead of a hard cider, which I have grown fond of over the last few years. Their rives street brew is light and delicious, with crisp finish. Burgers have been excellent, and my order is never wrong. Great staff all round, and a fantastic place to gather, drink, and have a great time! Especially before and after events in Charlottesville. Nice job guys.
