$33.50 for 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and 2 drinks before gratuity. I had the Oliver and my husband had Angus Yum. They tasted fresh and were tasty. Seating is very limited. Most of their business seems to be take away. There was a steady stream of people collecting their sandwiches at the counter. We will probably go again but not very soon. We have favorite places we like more.

Great sandwiches! Cute place with friendly staff. It was a great place for a quick lunch while in the area.

This is a must try place. The sandwiches are amazing with just the right portions. My favorite is the tofu reuben

The Smoked Brisket Reuben is my favorite! the bread is toasted to perfection and the brisket melts in your mouth.Every sandwich I've tried has been delicious and the sides are incredible. Thank you Kitchenette

Meh, not impressed enough to go back. Expensive for a sandwich especially if you don't like it. I got the Oliver's Dream and it was very soggy and tasteless. Yuck. Not much meat and the greens on the sandwich was brown and undressed. Weird location too. Change your prices on the online menu to match what's in the shop. Not a winner for me. My daughter thought the veggie soup was good too, but the portion was too small, a rip-off really. She got the grill cheese and it was a grill cheese nothing special.

Excellent sandwiches. We had the Jive Turkey with cranberry-mayo and the Squeal with pork and apple ginger chutney, both solid (especially considering it took us an hour to get them after they were made.) Everything that could have gotten soggy--bread, crunchy onions, etc--held up. I was impressed, and it was a delicious experience. Highly recommend.

Love a sandwich. It's just this perfect food. I want to be a sandwich tester for this place. How do they come up with the most delicious combinations for a sandwich? Maybe I ask too many questions and I should merely eat my sandwich in silent reverie. We had the Angry Bird and Oliver's Dream. I tried the Reuben on another occasion. All three sandwiches were amazing. I love it's great location, it's cute but limited outdoor eating area. We were much delayed in picking up the meal but one would not have been able to tell. And did I mention the sides? The sandwiches come with a side. He tried the cole slaw- "tangy" which is my fav but I always just get chips with my sandwich. Very impressive meal for $10-$12.

This tiny sandwich shop may not look like much from the outside, but trust me, it is well worth a visit. We ordered takeout, but the inside looked lovely. Although almost everything on the menu looked delicious, I ultimately decided on the Squeal. The crunchy fried onions, chutney, and several other mouth-watering toppings all combined for a perfect bite. However, the star of the show was the delicious house roasted pork. This is the perfect sandwich for the sweet and savory lovers out there. All sandwiches come with a side, which I think makes it a great bang for your buck. Online ordering is super easy through Toast, and I would highly recommend stopping by to satisfy any sandwich cravings!

A tucked-away sandwich shop that serves as a wonderful lunch spot - I got the reuben and thought it was a delicious and well balanced sandwich. The corned beef was great and was well-complimented by the melted cheese. Overall a place I look forward to trying a different sandwich from soon.

For the love of good food, these people know what they're doing. $9-$12 sandwiches so big you could save half for later! This is my go to lunch spot in town, happy to have them around

My friend and I were searching for a sandwich restaurant around Charlottesville and fell upon Kitchenette. The menu had amazing sandwich options with great sides. I had the Cuban and must say it's the best Cuban I've ever had. This restaurant is 10/10.

We each got the chicken Florentine special. Freakin perfection. Piled with mushrooms and spinach, crispy baked chicken, and awesome tomato sauce. Also that creamed Brussels side is dynamite. $3 cheaper than IVP and just as good with no wait. And great people!

We absolutely love Kitchen Catering and Events!!!! They were recommended to us for our wedding near Charlottesville and they were incredible throughout the whole process. From the moment we reached out, they were responsive, kind, and helpful. We went to visit and they offered an incredible tasting menu free of charge. We fell in love with their flexibility, creativity, and variety with the dishes. They worked with us every step of the way, including figuring out all the rentals and additional ingredients we'd need to buy separately (we wanted to buy all the alcohol ourselves to save money and they helped us figure out exactly how much of each bottle we'd need). They helped us customize our menu and they did a great job accommodating all of our parents little requests. When we unfortunately had to cancel the wedding at the last minute due to Covid, they worked with me to refund the deposit. We truly cannot recommend this company enough!

Here now for the first time and I'm in love!! It's tucked away so I found it on accident but it's going to become a new regular. The sandwiches are interesting, huuuuge, high quality ingredients and the atmosphere was lovely. A win!!!
