The vanilla with chocolate dip top is my favorite 'ice cream' in Charlottesville because it is so delicious and satisfying to eat. The price is reasonable for the amount you get, and I find it much easier on my digestive system than true ice cream. The store itself sometimes smells unappealing, presumably from whatever cleaning chemicals they use, and the servers' friendliness level varies, but it will continue to be our go-to place for frozen treats.

We love us some Kohr Bros! Our favorite soft serve...super rich and creamy, but not overly sweet. The chocolate dipped cones are a must try! This particular location is extremely convenient, but it doesn't exactly ooze with atmosphere. We've also encountered odors on several occasions. We usually get our ice cream to go.

Kohr Brothers is locally owned and run, and we love supporting our locally owned businesses when we come here. The treats are delicious no matter what you order, and the service has always been great! I love that you can mix and match most of their flavors. Try a peanut butter chocolate swirl for an extra special treat!

Visiting family who just moved to area, flipping through a tourist book we picked up in hotel, when WHAT? Kohrs in Charlottesville?! I thought they were only at the shore! :-). Family all very excited and we piled into the car for a custard snack that same afternoon. Location was good. Service friendly. Easy on/off highway. Unexpected nice touch was the black bear hanging around their dumpster behind the building. remember, do NOT feed the bears!

The building smelt terrible, it was extremely loud and over stimulating while trying to place an order. I couldn’t find prices and felt lost. For my ice cream Cone, and 3 kids ice cream somehow came to $26. I was floored at the cost, and questioned it. I am used to paying around $13-$16 for ice cream for our family. On top of that the ice cream was not good and had a slimy texture.

Okay so the custard was super tasty! I went with chocolate peanut butter and it did not disappoint. It was super creamy and flavorful. The price was very reasonable and I liked that you could get a fancy cone if you weren't feeling the standard options. What I didn't like was the interior of the biz smelt like a sewer. It was about 100 degrees outside so we couldn't eat outside and while the interior was cold, it was super smelly. Not sure if they were having issues with the bathroom or something else in the building. If you don't want to eat your ice cream outside, this is definitely a grab and go spot.

Smells a little funky in here, like a drian trap is messed up.
