I wanted to share an experience I had at the Charlottesville Merchant Walk Krispy Kreme recently.. I found a gnat in a closed box of donuts I’d purchased. When I brought it to the employees attention, they downplayed my concern, saying things like, “it’s just donuts, it’s not a big deal” and pointing out that the gnat was in the corner. While I understand that dealing with customers can be highly stressful and maybe “it’s just donuts” is a way to cope, I was still a bit put off. Even though the gnat appeared to have not touched the donuts.. does it really matter? Finding the gnat closed up inside the box was still unsettling for me. It’s a serious problem to have a bug in a customers order, and “its not a big deal” is subjective. I hope my feedback helps improve the customer experience going forward.

We Ordered Harry potter donuts and our order was confirmed. When delivery guy went to pick it up they told him they were sold out and they didn't have our order. When someone place an order and you confirm it I think you should put their order aside for pickup. That is the worstcostumer service ever to ask if they are ok with regular donuts instead when they pay extra to get what they want and you try to cheat them.

We drove an hour for a special breakfast for our kids. Unfortunately, the store was closed, and they were only operating the drive-thru. The customer service representative kept asking me to “hold on” when I placed my order through the drive-thru, which was fine. However, she couldn’t repeat the last donut I had requested for our assorted dozen or get my order correct.
I had ordered three raspberry-filled donuts within my assorted dozen, but I didn’t get them all. I also ordered two “Ring of Freedom” donuts for the dozen, but she said they didn’t have those currently (which was okay). However, when I went to the window, I could see a whole tray of “Ring of Freedom” donuts. When I spoke up, she gave me two, but she seemed frustrated. They advertise smoothies on the menu at the drive-thru but they aren’t available, they should have a sticker over things on the menu outside that are not available.

This is the first time I've ever been to a Krispy Kreme that had the hot and ready light on, yet they still have us cold doughnuts! The employee's had an attitude and we're not very friendly either!

Every time I come here I’m disappointed. This time was no different. The donuts are never “hot and ready” at this location and now it’s ONLY drive-through open at 6pm on a Friday?? I like to see my options inside and have a fresh donut, rather than order from a long drive through. Since this was my only option, I left disappointed. Please make this location better!!! I love Krispy Kreme, I’ve had it since I was a child in RVA. This location is depressing compared to other locations. Please do better in Cville!

Donut was good but the coffee was undrinkable. Tasted burnt and was full of coffee grounds. When I poured out the coffee there was a half inch of grounds in the bottom. I won't be back

I got an iced coffee and it was only three quarters full. So only get doughnuts from here now. Store is okay but only Krispy Kreme within 40 miles and store Krispy Kreme are not very good for the money.
