Post-Covid, it is by far the best higher end southern food restaurants in town. They are one of a handful of restaurants that remained open and didn't sacrifice quality. It's a top 5 for me in Charlottesville.
Joyce was an amazing server! She had a loud table of 12 women who had been drinking at the winery all day and she did not mind our energy at all! All our food came reasonable time. I loved my food although none of us were big fans of the corn bread it was pretty dry everything else was good I had the blackened catfish with Brussels and Mac and cheese

Had the pork chop. It was overcooked, a little dry. The sauce was a form of jelly, which had not all melted on the warm pork chop. This is our 3rd time eating there. I agree with other reviewers. The food is okay. However our server was great. Very informative and helpful. We are in the bar…. Nothing notable.
