Had an amazing birthday dinner here. Ordered the fried green tomatoes, wings, pot roast, and pecan pie. Way too much food for the two of us. You get more than your money's worth. The wings had good smoke with nice spice from the jerk. I got the pot roast which was nice and tender. Replaced the green beans with collards, perfect combo. It's a nice and quiet place but lively at the same time. Really hard to pull that off. Shrimp and grits were great and so was the pork belly. Biscuits were good too. The fish we had was okay. Good service. Will return to try more.
We had an absolutely fantastic meal here on Valentine's Day. Even on a busy night, we were seated promptly for our reservation, but not rushed through our meal.
The drinks menu is delightful, and the zero-proof options are thoughtful and complex. We had delicious appetizers (GF Corn Muffins, yum!) but could have skipped the chicken wings.
