Overrated. 30 minute wait to then be offered a "counter seat" directly next to where food is made and picked up by servers. What a pleasure to hear the chefs talk about their personal lives. Only thing missing was the bell for "order pickup". In a place where I am paying $15 for a glass of wine and $24 for an entree, the old Woolworths counter style doesn't cut it. Wait was an incredible 2.5 hrs just to have some very mediocre Italian food. Portions were tiny for the price. For a dish over 20$, I’d expect more than a couple pieces of sausage in my linguine. And for a place that claims to make pasta in house, I could’ve been just as satisfied with a some instant pasta from a box. I visited Tavola last night and I was very satisfied by its food's quality. We came around 8:30 but It was still crowded. However, we ordered some drink to start with in the waiting area so 1 hour of waiting was not that bad. The food, the drink, the atmosphere there and the service made my night yesterday
