We loved the food and drinks at Mockingbird. Everything on the menu sounded so delicious it was difficult to choose! The side dish plate option was fantastic. Great way to try a bunch of menu items! The decor is beautiful. We sat on the covered patio enjoying the live music. Excellent meal and vibe!
First stop while in the area! The food was great (get the meatloaf 😍) and the drinks were great too! If you’re feeling adventurous try the blue ridge derby, it’s magic as well!
We've been to Mockingbird several times previously and have thought highly of the food and service. This time, we didn't have that level of experience. It appeared our waitress had 4 tables (at least) that were seated at the same time so service was slow at best and drinks took an unreasonable time to arrive. The salmon was not particularly flavorful (2 of the people at the table ordered it) and the biscuit in the basket seemed 'old'. We waited for almost 15...
