First time eating here, and it was the best food we’ve had in years. We’d already eaten earlier, so we just shared three apps: the Beets, the Crudo, and the Scallion/Cabbage Pancake. It’s hard to describe how perfect the flavors were. I really believe there’s a place where food gets perfect...that balance of sweet, salt, sour, and spice. You know it when you taste it...but then there's also texture!! It was everywhere it mattered. Crunchy- quinoa? Heat...serrano sliced in thin, bright bites! So many layers! Layers you kept noticing as you ate. It was just deeply satisfying food. I thought about it so much today that I was moved to write a review.
We also happened to sit next to the sweetest woman who couldn’t finish her dessert and shared it with us. The s’mores bread pudding was ridiculous. I don’t even like sweets, and I’ve literally thought about it all day.
I sound unhinged.

We had no reservation, but we still went to see if they had any open seating around 5:30pm, and we got seated right away in their heated outdoor patio! The restaurant gives very cozy, rustic vibes - very warm. Service was great, the waiters were super attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious! They serve family-style, and they recommended ordering 3-4 items for 2 people.
Hanger Steak - If there's one thing you must order, THIS IS IT! Paired with the chimichurri and aioli sauce, it was **chef's kiss**
Grilled Oysters - Oysters were well-balanced with garlic and cheese and tasted super fresh, no surprise being right next door to public fish and oyster (hehe)
Roasted Mushrooms & Polenta - This was the surprise of the night, where the oyster mushrooms had a citrus/tangy taste, and the polenta almost tasted like baked mac & cheese, but WAY better, especially paired with the chili creamy sauce!
And don't get me started with the dessert & cocktails! The s'mores bread pudding was a unique take on s'mores and it was not too sweet approved! And all the cocktails we tried were good!

We had our rehearsal dinner here and everything was 10/10. From communication beforehand, the friendliness of the staff throughout the night, atmosphere, food, drinks, everything! Our guests talked about their food all weekend. Highly recommend!

We finally tried Oakhart Social after hearing about it for years. We dined at the bar, it was a bit loud and service was not very attentive. As for the pros, we enjoyed the salad and broccoli.
We ordered the “seared salmon” and were alarmed when it came out more than half raw and uncooked (as in the photo). Checked with the bartender who seemed to suggest that was normal and that the partial sear “cooks through” the salmon, however, nowhere on the menu was it noted that the salmon was left half raw and uncooked. I would not have ordered it had I known and the bartender didn’t offer anything to accommodate. It was gross to eat. The mushroom with polenta is also heavily smoked and came with a heavy cream sauce that wasn’t for us.

We had dinner here recently with some friends and it was good. The restaurant was crowded, we did have a reservation, which I would suggest. The server was good and attentive. We shared 8 different tapas plates and they were all good. The 8 plates may have been a bit too much, but nothing wrong with some leftovers. I enjoyed the Broccoli and Fried Chicken the most. We enjoyed our experience and would come back.

I recently hosted a private event at Oakhart and it was nothing short of exceptional. Frequent diner, so I knew the food would be amazing, but on top of that the Oakhart team did an incredible job of booking, coordinating, and managing the event. Our guests loved it and it was a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back!
