In my opinion, the best coffee and atmosphere in Charlottesville. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. Food is excellent as well, though the café and restaurant next door share so sometimes it's a little confusing. If you want to sit down you can go to the restaurant (great experience, highly recommend) but you can get the same food to go from the café, or even just the same food in to go containers to sit in the café with. An old rustic house redone into a quaint, clean, modern coffee shop. When you walk in you can feel how peaceful and welcoming the cafe is. The staff are caring, efficient and excellent baristas. Went for brunch today and there was hardly one else there, which made me a little concerned, but I think people just don’t know about this gem. The food was so good. This is the best brunch Ive had Charlottesville. Everyone I was with enjoyed the food. This is listed as a coffee bar but the food appears to be cooked fresh out of the pink grouse kitchen, and it was amazing. Highly recommend!
