It was great! I wish they'd use less terms of endearment. I don't do well with those coming from people I don't know. Just a pet peeve of mine.

I just moved to the area and saw this place on my way to work, so I decided to swing in with a friend. It’s a quaint inn that gave cozy vibes. We went on a Friday morning at 8:30 so it wasn’t crowded.
First of all, Kay and Cheyanne are so amazing. They gave such good recommendations, I went for the seasonal coffee that was honey/almond/blueberry and the avocado toast. The coffee blew me away with how creamy it was, despite being dairy free???!!! I’m super picky about my milk, I’m a firm believer that coffee should be served with full fat milk, so with this drink I was beyond impressed. I also looked at my bill and they didn’t charge me for the drink??? So generous of them😭❤️
As for the avocado toast, I took a leap of faith and went with Kay’s recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint. I never order this at a restaurant (they just tend to be overpriced and nothing special), but the marinated tomatoes and flakey sour dough sounded so good and it exceeded my expectations. Definitely would come back and order the same items because I just loved them so much, but also excited to explore the menu more. Come here for the best service, delicious food, and a cozy place to catch up with some friends on a slow morning.

Was one of my most memorable cafe experience. Great ambiance and awesome customer service! Must visit if you are around the UVA area at Charlottesville!

Pretty average breakfast place imo the menu is overly complicated and unique to give the illusion the food is better or more high end than it is. I would not comeback here.

I went here for brunch to celebrate my birthday, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I found the location to be cute, affordable, and the food was very tasty. Great quality and unique flavors. The beignets were delicious! A must have. I enjoyed their locally brewed kombucha. The atmosphere was much louder and more boisterous than I would have imagined on a Sunday at noon. It was hard to hear my family talk at the little table we were squeezed into. The service was great, and I think that in the future I would sit outside because sound really carries in the little cottage. We made a reservation in advance.

Oakhurst inn is my favorite place in Charlottesville for a nice brunch, coffee or lunch. The food is very tasteful and the staff is amazing. A special mention for Kay who’s been working there for a while and who remembered me after a year spent abroad. Cheyenne and Sarai are also adorable and very welcoming. This place feels like home and I am so happy to be back. I’m a big fan of their granola, if I may suggest some extra yoghurt would be great. Love their chèvre salad, it’s simply amazing and their avocado toast. To be honest, everything tastes great!

Delicious food - avocado and smoked salmon with micro greens. Yum. Sweet scone was eye opening good.
The tastiest! The coffee drinks are on point, freshest healthy breakfast fare, adorable old house vibes, and friendliest staff. Very pleased.
Cute restaurant and the food was amazing. Brunch at Oakhurst Inn is an absolute treat. The burger was phenomenal—juicy, flavorful, and elevated by a rich onion jam that hit all the right notes. The fried chicken sandwich was another highlight: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a hot sauce that brought just the right amount of heat and tang.
The beignets were a delightful surprise—pillowy soft and paired beautifully with citrus and raspberry jam. Pair that with a light, crisp mimosa and you’ve got yourself a perfect morning.
Parking is stress-free thanks to the adjacent garage, and if the weather’s nice, definitely opt for a table outside. The patio is peaceful and adds so much charm to the experience. A must-visit brunch spot in town.
We had breakfast here, lovely food, good value for money. Friendly staff. Cat had to stay outside though.
Really good food, pricey just like everything in Cville, small, converted house, service was slow, but most likely due to how crowded it was. I would go back. Reservation recommended.
