The SIP Club is Fantastic!
I mostly always get food, but when I have come in just for a sip club beverage I've always felt welcomed. Staff is super friendly.

They didn’t pack all our food into the sealed bag, which was a poor choice as expensive Panera is. After spending over $80 dollars. Half of the order was missing which raises concern and Panera made money free and not providing the product is questionable to me on their ethics at this particular location. To make matters worse, my partner wasn’t feeling well and the comfort food of Panera especially the soups was such an inconvenience. We only received 1 sandwich and 1 soup when we ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 two soups with bread bowl. All of which was not in the bag after they checked marked all on the receipt as it was and the bag was fully sealed shut. It was a very disappointing experience, I understand Panera prices has increased significantly due to inflation in which we are happy to pay with no complaint but service should reflect that and make sure customers receive the food they paid for.

Worst Paneras ever been in!!!! They are short handed and took forever to get food that we finally just threw in trash and left. Normally would complain and get replacement food but it’d take too long. Avoid this Paneras if possible!

Shelly, the lovely woman that works behind the register and provides exceptional customer service--hands down makes this panera feel like a five star restaurant! Rock on, Panera at Merchant!

I’ve been waiting for an HOUR when no one was ahead of me in the drive thru. She had me park and then came out with half my order missing 40 minutes into waiting and hasn’t returned yet with the rest of my order. Will probably be another 30 minutes so I’m just driving off with a cold sandwich and my salad missing. Avoid at all costs as it looks like this is a normal thing based on past reviews.

Stopped here for lunch, very pleased with the food and service. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. Lots of food choices.

Oh, my goodness, the service at this location was unbelievable!! Shelly absolutely made our experience phenomenal! She brought our food to us and checked on us frequently. I felt as if we were in a five star restaurant. You go Panera!!

Best Panera I’ve been too! Shelly took our order and was absolutely the sweetest woman. Her kindness made our day!
The food was delicious. This location even had a little cozy corner for kids with small chairs and books.

Staff were nice. Food was tasty and fresh. Italian sub and BBQ CHIC, salad with strawberry but were out of pecans.French Onion soup was ok. The broccoli y cheese is much better. Overall our favorite Panera in Charlottesville.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before heading to Monticello. Ordered on the kiosk, staff was just opening for the day. They were friendly and appeared busy with tasks but greeted us and politely interacted with us. Our order was correct and delicious!

Overpriced not worth it, used to work here. Nothing is luxury or worth the money you spend for their food. All their meat comes pre packed in plastic bags, as well as all the soups and other produce.
