I am infuriated and disgusted by the way an employee at Popeyes in Charlottesville, VA, treated my 72-year-old mother today. The blatant disrespect shown by this customer service worker is unacceptable. Disrespecting an elder in the community is baffling. Disrespecting your parents or grandparents is one thing, but disrespecting someone else's loved one is entirely different. My mother did nothing to deserve such treatment.

I understand that people can have bad days, but taking it out on customers is wrong. Not only did this employee insult my mom by calling her names, but she also made derogatory remarks about my deceased grandmother, who wasn’t even present. This behavior is shameful.

The audacity of this employee warrants serious consequences. If I didn’t live three hours away, I might have felt compelled to confront her more directly. I have been informed that the franchise may be family-owned, which makes this situation even more despicable. I am reaching out to corporate to address this matter because it affects not just my family but the community and the brand as a whole.

I love Popeyes, I really do, but this location is the worse one I’ve ever been to. The food is always warm to cold. The fries are stale and cold, every time, not just occasionally. You ask for fresh ones and they refuse. The filets on the sandwich is cold, small, and tough in areas. If you get chicken the pieces are very small and they will not switch pieces for you. I moved from Tampa and miss my Popeyes I had there. The service and food were exceptional and they were always happy to see you. In my opinion, this location is not a Popeyes. They don’t know what a Popeyes is.

Customer service was disgusting. The order machine was muffled so I could not hear properly. I asked her to repeat herself a few times and after the 3rd time she started raising her voice and began to talk to me extremely rude. Service at the window was no better. Food was not worth the money nor me keeping my composure.

Very occasionally go because I like chicken sandwiches but the service is poor. Latest encounter: straw was wet for some reason, no spoon for rice and beans, light ice apparently means a third of the cup, and either the microphone at the drive thru needs to be fixed or the deaf woman that's always working the drive thru needs a different role.

I don't recommend this Popeyes.

The lady at the drive through window told us that they only had ghost pepper wings, no regular classic wings and if we didn't want them "we could just leave". I don't think she should have spoken to customers like that. (No wonder there was no other cars at the drive through window)

Went in around eight o'clock. Ordered rice and beans, which were overly spicy and greasy. The staff seemed a bit sluggish and tired.

I love Popeyes.we need one in Lynchburg.va. I just got the chance to visit charlottesville va popeyes. The on line menu shows a family meal but they told me that after standing there listening to some one at the counter speaking in Spanish and continue to talk on there phone making 5 wait in line just to tell me what I wanted was only on the app.A#### your app i shound be able to get anything on the menu. I wont stop again

Let me start by saying the food is good and good quality. However, service is a little lacking. I purchased over $70 worth of food (family meal, etc.) and asked for sauce. I was told that sauce was only for tenders and they would have to charge me. It's kind of ridiculous to spend that much at a fast food place and not get at least 2-3 sauce packets for free.

WARNING!!! Trash cart and can stored at back door with rat bait stations along fencing. Entrance door is filthy with grease and smears. Roaches on inside crawling on floor. Chicken tenders are half skin and cartridge. Order of slaw less than half full. Chicken pieces small and dry. Charged more than menu price. Rude employees. Will be filing reports with Virginia health authorities and consumer affairs.
