Prompt welcoming, immediate seating, followed by great wait service. Mixed drinks were done very well and the food was both hot and delicious. My wife had the shrimp and grits while I had the meatloaf. Both excellent. The cherry cheesecake was to die for. Highly recommend.

We walked in just as the theater rush was leaving. After a three minute wait, we quickly had amazing Old Fashions to sip as we made the difficult decision on what to order. Bacon wrapped meatloaf and Gumbo were selected and lived up to expectations. A wonderful experience for our first night in Charlottesville.

The food quality was outstanding. The variety of the southern style cuisine was pleasantly surprising. The service was prompt, but I wish our server had a little more personality. I also felt like I was guilted into using a compostable to-go food container, which I don't mind using, but the way the "option" of food container presented to me was unusual.

This is a fine place to grab a casual bite. I ordered a burger that was cooked correctly but tasted like it was cooked on a grill in need of cleaning. The tots were awesome. My Coke was flat. The service was friendly enough.

Everything was great. Good relaxed atmosphere with excellent brunch. Best Chesapeake crab eggs benedict and very attentive staff. Look forward to coming back next time we are in Charlottesville.

I walked past this place assuming it would be littered with The End Is Near! and Repent Now! brochures and worse: a boozeless menu.I was wrong.As far as I can tell “Rapture” refers to the Gumbo, which was excellent. Nay, sublime.All four beers on the Local Flight I ordered were eminently quaffable.The service was also friendly and attentive.

We enjoyed our meal at Rapture before a show at the Paramount Theater. The service was very good as was the food. Our food came out in a perfect amount of time. We will definitely go back.

All the beer on tap tastes like dirty tap lines but other then that i like the place. I give it a 6/10
Excellent on all accounts. Met a friend for a holiday dinner and had the most awesome cocktails! Our waitress provided the right amount of care while also giving space.

The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and were personable, engaged and attentive the entire evening. We were there early, so it was quiet before the band started.., and the food... so good!
