I love love love this spot for lunch and dinner. It’s affordable, delicious and consistently great. Whenever I’m hungry and close by I shoose rev soup because I know it’ll be quick and yummy. If you’re in Charlottesville and need a comforting meal for under $15 you should def stop by. The workers are always kind and helpful when deciding on which soup to choose from. My personal fav is the peanut tofu.
I got the pimento grilled cheese today, and they put about 1 teaspoon of the cheese ☹ I usually like their food and recommend them to people, but with the $1 gluten free upcharge and tip I ended paying about $10 for like 100 calories, which is pretty disappointing. That was a pimento grilled cheese the same way lime la Croix is fruit juice. Get the soup instead.
It was a really cold day and we just happened to stumble in here. The inside of the place is super cute. All of the art on the walls and the tables are really cool. We ordered a special called the Ice Breaker (top of the photo) and a Ham & Brie (bottom of the photo). Both sandwiches were delish! We also ordered a Baked Potato soup to share. No complaints at all, we enjoyed it. Also the little corn bread that came with it was so yummy and subtly sweet. Perfect to dip in the...
