We visited on May 8th while on vacation in Charlottesville. The food was fantastic. We had a party of six, and we ordered a wide selection of food. Everything was seasoned to perfection. It truly was soul food. The chef was talented, and the owner was wonderful. She made us laugh and made us feel like we were family coming to enjoy a homemade meal. We walked away full and happy. I ate here about a week ago and I’ve been to about 10 different states and the Caribbean so when I say they had some of the best food I’ve ever tasted it holds weight. Excellent service and great atmosphere too. Happy hour discounts on any drink. And the owner/cook literally makes you feel at home. Definitely my favorite restaurant now
