We've been getting our fish for several years from here. Extremely fresh, extremely high quality, they know their sources, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable, extremely competent, and friendly.
Freshest seafood in Charlottesville bar none. Fresher than Whole Foods and better prices as well. Been shopping there almost 10 years and have never had a bad experience, not one. There's a reason so many restaurants buy from them, their stuff is is just better. My favorites: if you want a real treat, their sea scallops are truly amazing ... they don't come dry packed in a can like the ones from WF's and I promise you'll taste the difference. I've been buying fish from Seafood@Westmain since they opened 10 or more years ago. Their seafood is the freshest in Charlottesville. I like to support local businesses and this one is well worth it. The Seafood guys will cut exactly the amount of fish I need.
