Silk Thai Restaurant

A young staff who took our order was very kind and welcoming. The food was good and well seasoned, especially their Tom Yum soup. The Thai iced tea was not too sweet and tastes just right, in my opinion.

HOWEVER,
When checking out, I put cash on the counter table, and I was going to recount the amount before handing it to this lady who helped us check out. Before I could reach and recount my cash, the lady took the bill AND the cash and placed on the lower surface where I couldn’t reach it. I told her that I’d like to recount my cash, and she shouldn’t have taken my cash away when I haven’t handed it to her and that I don’t appreciate that action. She didn’t give me the cash back but gave me an attitude instead. THEN she pointed to the change she gave me and ask how much I would like to tip. I hope my tips went to the young staff that helped take us in and take our order, definitely not the lady who cashed me out.

I’ve had meals at Mashumen right next door, multiple times too, and I love the food and the amazing staffs. I heard they and Silk Thai have the same owner, so I decided to try this place out. Although the Thai food is good, I will NOT return after the behavior of the cashier lady today. I have the right to recount my money before I hand it to you, only then you have the right to place it at a place where I can’t reach. It’s sad that the unprofessionalism at the end ruined the experience of a good meal. I hope this will be addressed.

Total menu is outstanding. Great food at really reasonable prices. Outstanding quality and service. If you are anywhere close it's a must stop.

The food is fine. But they charge a 12.3% fee without any explanation what it is. We still paid tip and tax, and only realized there was a separate 12.3% fee after we looked at the bill later..

Best Thai food I have had in this area.

We are regulars and every time they bring a great attitude and bring above and beyond service. Tui was our waitress today and she brought a wonderful attitude and had quick turn around times for the food. She was so attentive, and the restaurant was clean as usual. Can’t recommend enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Silk Thai- friendly server and yummy food with generous portions... leftovers for dinner tomorrow! We ordered spring rolls, Pad Thai with pork (large slices of tender pork) and Pineapple Fried Rice, which had shrimp & chicken (note: I forgot to take photos before we started eating & sharing, but I took a couple anyway) Moscow Mule with fresh lime juice also refreshing (and same price as a glass of wine- so why not?!)

We ate here for the first time sharing lunch with friends. The friendly staff and the clean environment was the first impression. What sealed the deal was all the food. It was delicious with rich flavors and very large portions. We will be back. Tom Kha Soup, cashew chicken

First time into Silk Thai, and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent Thai standards plus some unusual takes: Fried Pork Belly Drunken Noodles and Crispy Duck Noodle Soup. Both were delicious. Already looking forward to going back!

Really great food with large portions. I ordered the basil crispy duck and drunken noodles with crispy duck. Also ordered the ravioli and Thai coffee delicious

We ate here the food was amazing and don't get me started about the service it was soooo good

We have been waiting for silk Thai to reopen after the years long closure and remodel. And they are even better than we remember. Best pad Thai I've ever had. So good I ate half before I remembered to take a photo.

The lunch menu is back! Soup and potstickers are very good apps.

Also tried something new for me at Silk Thai. The Kao Soi Gai was so good it might be a new favorite. This will make the future decision very difficult.
