Great beers and great location! Lots of food options at the Dairy Market

Starrhill is top craft. Setting is cool. 20% off on Friday carryouts.

Good selection of brews in a great location. My good friend drove down from Leesburg while I'm in CVille for a last minute meeting and this is where he wanted to go. Didn't dissapoint. 3 pints later and I'm all about their Snow Blind doppelbock lager. Nice and malty. My buddy, on the other side, enjoyed the Guitar Pick IPA. We also got burgers from one of the restaurants in that Dairy Market area, but that's another review.

Nothing gluten free? Nothing? Really? Can't just keep a few cans of hard seltzer around for people who come with friends who can't partake?

This place is fantastic! Put the Dairy Market in Charlottesville on your to-do list.

We held our rehearsal dinner / welcome party in this space, and it was fantastic. The space was perfect for gathering our close friends and family the night before our big day. We were able to relax with great drinks and catered food with exceptional service by the bartenders who were super accommodating to any needs we had. Our guests loved this space and the beer of course! Thanks for hosting us!

We are making rounds of the breweries in Charlottesville and stopped at Starr Hill Downtown today. Love the vibe both inside and out. Plenty of sitting, and an eclectic board with fun options. Today it was warm so wanted something bright, chose the Mojito Sour. Tasty! Partner enjoyed his as well. Plenty of food options. Smart to locate near restaurants.

This place is friggin awesome! We had the Combo from Take It Away with their House Dressing which is really unique! Worthy!

Nice brewery with a well rounded selection of beers. My favorites are the gose and stouts. The pumpkin beer is good too. Cheers.
Beer was great. Bartender was very refreshing to talk to about beer!

The beer is not good. We tried as much as we good and it was lacking, especially for the price. 15$ for a 5 beer flight might as well be extortion. The ambiance doesn’t make up for the taste with self service for beers and very cheap tables. I had higher hopes based on other reviews but there are much better places in Chville to see.

Nightmare experience. It's hard for me to talk about my experience without using hateful language. Anyway, the bartender served the most tasteless, horrible alcoholic slushie I have ever tasted. My friends asked for straws, spoons, a glass of water. She told us to go elsewhere. Then she burglarized my debit card for 30+ dollars. No idea how that can happen in downtown Charlottesville.

Great beers, great location. A dozen different kinds of restaurants right next door - connected indoors, actually. Parking in the pay lot was full when we left around 6:15pm. Hazy imperial IPA and hazelnut coffee stout FTW.

After moving out of town, Starr Hill returns to a place not far from its namesake. Still has beer of wildly varying quality, but there's enough variety that one can probably find something one likes. This location is newly renovated and looks great.
