Great vegan place. I got salad with no- bull burger was delicious. All vegan which is fabulous. Charlottesville needs more of this.
absolutely incredible food! this is my new favorite cville spot. it is so great to have a place that serves vegan burgers! i ate at the location on Wednesday, couldn't stop thinking about how good the burger was, and got delivery via Uber Eats today- it was just as amazing delivered. i'll be eating here at least once a week- if not more obviously!
I am so excited that there is a vegetarian option near me. I ordered the GRN Street Double with a side of fries. The patty had the taste and texture of a veggie burger but that’s not a problem for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

The smokehouse chick'n sando is a standout, and the truffle fries from the adjacent Citizen Burger stand are a must-try. Located inside Dairy Market, it resembles an upscale food court and is attached to Citizen Burger. The restaurant does not have a sit-in option, but the mall has plenty of tables and chairs for eating. The menu is veggie-based with dairy and vegan cheese options, offering kid-friendly choices.
The GRN Street Double is a favorite, with a patty that has the taste and texture of a veggie burger. The coleslaw has a slightly mustard flavor, though the portion is small. Fries can sometimes be unevenly cooked, but the smokehouse chick'n remains a good value. Orders may take 20-30 minutes, and if no one is at the counter, a QR code is available for scanning. Parking is available in a nearby lot and along the street. Note that GRN Burger opens at 4 pm, so plan accordingly. Despite being a 100% vegan place, some items like ranch may not be vegan but are clearly labeled. Staff are understanding and helpful, even in unexpected situations.
