Great donuts but terrible service!! Manager "Marie" is unapologetic for mistakes made several times and unprofessional. She treated me like I did something wrong when THEY did not have my preordered donuts ready for a work function. This happened to me twice and no compensation for the inconvenience. It will make it hard to go back when they don't care for the customers at all.

Since Spudnuts left town Charlottesville needed a good donut shop. Well sugar shack filled the void with some of the best donuts I have ever had. Luther burger is in the back and they serve delicious burgers and fries. They have several vegan options and even a coffee shop that rivals Starbucks! If you are feeling adventurous get a Luther burger. This monster is a burger with two glazed donuts for the buns.

The doughnuts are fine, but the pre-order service is awful. I've been ordering almost every other week for a 7 am meeting at UVA for the last year which makes them convenient. I have yet to have an order go right. The online orders don't get picked up as being ordered. The call in orders either aren't ready for pickup or they are the wrong amount or the wrong batch (ie nuts when I ordered no nuts). I understand this is staffed by college students, but it's a professional business as well. If they weren't the only thing open before 7 am in C'ville, I'd go elsewhere.

Great prices for great food. Awesome spot to hit on the way to work. You can get out the door with an awesome breakfast and coffee for under 10.00 easily.

We asked for Vegan donuts, we got bacon in our donuts, and instead of being apologetic, the employee on the phone asked us to bring the donuts back and prove it! Unbelievable!! Terrible customer service!!! Well here is a picture. Sorry, we work in a hospital and can't make multiple trips to the donut shop. Never coming here again.
