Pretty good Turkish food. Dishes are typical, nothing too impressive. Cuisine is fairly authentic for Turkish restaurant here (especially compared to Otto). Outdoor seating is very pleasant. Clean bathrooms. Servers can be a little dry. A mainstay of Cville's Turkish community. Bonus points for beet juice. Lahmacun (Turkish pizza) is good for takeout.
I went with a big group of friends and the service was amazing. Despite being a large group the service was very attentive, kind, and fast! I ordered the Adana Platter and my friend ordered Chicken Platter, they were both amazing. The quality of food is great and portions are a great deal as it comes with rice, salad, hummus, and pita bread.
We had a wonderful dinner at Sultan Kebab. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed the grilled Halloumi along with the nicely dressed salad underneath. Lamb Shish Kebab came with salad, hummus and rice. All were well seasoned. My husband was very happy with the Iskender Platter although he would have liked a bit more spice. The Turkish wines were nice and reasonably priced. I would also like to commend the server who ran a block to the public parking...
