My only regret is that I did not take the clerk's advice to buy a second bottle of the wine he recommended (as he knowingly suggested would be my regret). Small, independent shops live by the quality of their staff and the recommendations they provide to customers. This place knocks it out of the park.
It's astonishing that Tastings has not had more reviews during pandemic. The restaurant had to close, like many, but the owner, chef and staff pivoted and recreated their menu for contactless pick up - never missing a beat in quality. Order online, call whatever works. Over the months of self sacrifice being safe at home, ordering from Tastings has been our salvation. The menu is consistent, but has elements (lobster, lamb shanks, crab casserole, cassoulet) that never fail...
