Came here multiple times for take out only. The front of the house does have 2 seats for take out/ waiting area. I ordered pad Thai the first time and second time was masaman curry. Both were delicious and tasted great!

I just want to say that this is authentic Thai food! The food was incredible, staff friendly, and a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely be a regular customer, and highly recommend!

Thai 99 II is the best Thai restaurant in Charlottesville. We have been a customer since they opened in 1999. We have never been disappointed in anything that we have ordered as take-out or ate at the restaurant. They are totally authentic as we know since our son lived in Thailand for over a year, and ate at many restaurants when we visited him. Thai 99 even has Singha beer which is an absolute must with the spicy Thai food.
