Never ate here but have gone in a few times to shoot pool and have some beers. This is one of the few spots in Cville that has pool tables. Always had a great time and definitely will be going back. I'm not a regular here but never once had any difficulty getting service from the staff. They've all been super friendly and prompt service, even when they were slammed. If your thing is dress clothes and martinis, this might not be your cup of tea but if you like a laid back atmosphere with some great people, I would highly recommend!

i want to send this message to donna hurtekant who wrote a bad review well donna they do stay busy and no its not because your a female its probably because you was acting like a bytche and thats why they ignore you you did not have to write that this company been around for years and as long as i been going there they been really nice so next time Karen you might want to think before you speak

By far one of my newest fave places. The bartenders absolutely make the place.

You can beat the crowd of locals and great bar staff. Really good atmosphere.

The Double Horseshoe Saloon in Charlottesville is truly a delight. Stopped in while I was in town and three beers was under $12. You can’t find that good of price anywhere. The bartender was very friendly and quick to make sure you had a full beer. Finally, the mirrors were a great place to snap a quick selfie. If you’re in Charlottesville and you need an inexpensive beer, check this place out.

Karaoke system sounded horrible. No words, and the mix drowned out the singers.

Place is based af. Exactly the kind of dive bar I wish there was more of these days.

Awesome place to shoot pool and beer is very affordable. Be advised that smoking is permitted indoors.

The waitress was fantastic. Made sure everyone had drinks and was having fun without hovering over us. Had a great time there
