Workshop, owned by grit coffee, who has several stores here in town company owned by two gentlemen from Charlottesville. This coffee shop is in my neighborhood, but even if it wasn't, I'd be there often. It has great outdoor seating indoor seating with full glass windows, and also very good choices and coffee.services is great and is wonderful whether we sit inside or outside on rolling nice waterproof chairs or couches. Highly recommend workshop getting there is a bit of an issue as you must go down Broadway, which is parallel to East market where most people go. Please use Broadway.

Great coffee. Great pastries. Closed randomly and often enough to suggest that they at minimum tell people via social media that they're closed. It's an annoying enough issue that any Grit-affiliated shop gets dinged. You have social media accounts. Use them. I do not need to show up a half dozen times and "discover" that you're closed when I checked your socials in advance.

I love this coffee shop but there’s this one worker that’s just plain of rude, this morning I was trying to make an order and he simply was ignoring me and just couldn’t even look at me when he wasn’t busy at all. I don’t know if it’s because I’m Latin or something but I don’t like nor understand why he treats me like this everytime I come here.

What a hidden gem. Hands down the best iced coffee I have ever had. Unlike other shops, the iced coffee actually had flavor and lots of it. It didn't taste watered down or weak. The staff was excellent, I felt like a regular right away. The wine selection is extensive and has a personal touch to it. I will be making it a habit of stopping by anytime I am in town.

The menu is very limited but the service is great and the management is even better.There was a glitch in the payment system and I was charged a few dollars more for a coffee. It would be a tip but it registered as a service fee (?) I was told. I was also told this can't be fixed on the spot because the manager isn't there but will tell him and fix it. Fine, whatever is what I thought. A few days later I noticed that the charged amount changed on my credit card statement. They fixed it even after I was long gone. It's scary how they can do all that without my being present there and without my card.However, at the same time, they proved how honest and trustworthy they are.Honoring their words and taking care of mistakes, Awesome people in my book!
