Great latte, and better service!
We came here on Sunday morning, and there were plenty of seats. The service is good. The environment is chill and nice. The coffee and pastries are pretty standard. We also walked around this area to see the bridge and the river. It’s pretty nice in general. Would recommend if you happen to be in the nearby area.
I live in the area and am a regular here. The workshop is one of my favorite coffee shops in Charlottesville. It feels very local, the baristas are so personable- I love that there’s no kitschy uniforms or push to move people along, and we catch up every time I come in. The coffee is excellent and I love the specialty drinks (as well as the option to have wine), and the space is so wonderful. There’s no rush or corporate feel.
