Just had an amazing Beef Shawarma here. The owner Rami is absolutely welcoming, and will answer all questions about the food. He is proud to let you know that all of the breads, sauces, ect are made in house. Absolutely come try the place if you have the time.

Their food is pretty good. The service is fast. You come in and order your food and then pick it up from the counter and sit wherever you can. I think sometimes they bring it to your table too. I like their food too, it's quite tasty and I think their prices are reasonable. This is a good place to grab food to

Best manaeesh I've had outside of Lebanon. 10/10 recommend. The workers were super friendly and gave me extra pickles on the side when I asked.

This is the best Mediterranean food I've had since I moved out of Central California. Everything, and I mean everything, was phenomenal. Spent $60 on a whole table of food to try out. The Garlic Sauce is perfection!

Would NOT recommend. Everything is OVER-PRICED and portions at TINY. A CAN of Sprite is $2.49 and 3 dolmas (stuffed grape leaves is $3.99. We won't be returning.Food (1 out of 5): We ordered Creamy Lentil Soup (6oz 0/5), Dolmas (canned 3/5), and the Kafta Bowl (1/5) with rice and salad for $25.12.I LOVE Lebanese food... this was not authentic Lebanese food! The rice wasn't even fresh and we came for lunch!Service (2 out of 5): The cashier knew the menu well and explained a few items. When the first items were ready, he brought them to the table.Atmosphere (2 out 5): It is very clean. The music was a great volume and station. One of the workers/owners came in the restaurant, used the bathroom right next to our table, then left the door open, light and fan on while less than 5 feet from where we were eating. As we were leaving, no one said thanks for coming in, hope to see you again... nothing. We were 1 of 2 customers (the other guy got takeout) in the forty minutes we were there. This was over all a NO.Vegetarian options: There are clearly posted items on the menu.

My husband and I have occasional appointments with physicians associated with the University of Virginia -- and enjoy trying out new (to us!) restaurants while in Charlottesville. This visit was to Thyme & Company, a Lebanese restaurant. SERVICE (rating: 5/5). Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the gentleman at the counter, who directed our attention to the menu board on the wall, and offered his assistance if we weren't familiar with Lebanese food. We already knew most of the items, but there were a few new things (freekeh; fattoush salad) for us to try. We put in our order, grabbed some (free) water from a container on the counter, and sat at one of the large picnic-style tables. The food arrived quickly, and the server was friendly. FOOD, which we shared (4/5, on average). My husband ordered a Lamb Gyro ($12.99) from the Manousheh (Flatbread) menu. This featured lamb meat, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, onions, and tzatziki sauce on a homemade flatbread. We'd rate this 3/5. The bread was very tasty, but the fillings were rather skimpy at the $13 price point, and it didn't come with any sides. I ordered a Chicken Sharwarma Bowl ($10.99) from the Mezzanine Bowl menu. This was excellent, both in terms of taste and value (5/5). There was a lot of food -- the chicken sharwarma, your choice of rice or freekeh (a grain made from green durum wheat), your choice of fattoush salad or tabbouleh salad (or half and half of both salads), hummus, Lebanese pickles, pickled turnips, and a homemade garlic sauce. It was also served with a wedge of homemade bread (about 1/4 of the size of a full flatbread). Overall, we especially enjoyed the hummus, the homemade bread, and the freekeh. AMBIANCE. (3/5). The restaurant is relatively small, with a few oversized "picnic" tables with bench seating, and some stools along the window. My husband first sat at the EDGE of one of the benches -- to make it easier for others to share our table -- but the bench was unstable at the edge and he almost fell. The restaurant was clean, and a restroom was available. We would eat here again.

I tried this place last night and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't wasn't amazing but wasn't terrible either. I love Lebanese food so I have the tendency of being just a tad bit picky when it comes to now it's prepared. The falafel wrap alone with a side of garlic was $15 bucks which was a tad bit pricey imo.
