Some restaurants survive on hype. Others survive because they quietly turn out great food day after day and build a loyal following one meal at a time. Thyme & Co in Charlottesville is the latter.

I've eaten my way through most of the menu at this point, and I can honestly say I haven't been disappointed once.

I was sincerely, sincerely impressed with my beef shawarma bowl. The presentation was phenomenal and it tasted even better. Additionally, the worker followed up to see how I enjoyed it (knowing dang well I did.) I highly recommend this hidden gem.
