Great prices and wines. It’s not a “winery vibe” but the location is cute and super convenient! The staff was kind and helpful in choosing wines.

police sit in the parking lot and shoot radar and harass customers. private property so it would be amazing if the owner would tell them to leave but they might be the ones who invited them to extort people on their property, but I can't get a clear answer on that part.

This place rocks. The wine is good, the prices are fair, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, yet not stuffy. A perfect place to escape the bustle of crowded wineries and relax with friends.

Wine was mediocre but that wasn't the issue. Tasting was $15+ for 4 wines. I could not believe the minuscule tasting pour...not even enough to taste. I have same glasses at home so I decided to "measure" what was poured when I got home. Each pour was 1 tbsp + .5 tsp. My wife wanted me to sit outside with her to do the "tasting" but once I saw the amount of pour, I thought this should take less than 2 minutes so I never joined her. In hindsight, I should have just told the lady to keep it and left. I'll never be back to Wineworks Extended. The pours at main vineyard are quite different so I may go back there...plus wines tasted there are better.

We Love the wine of course, and all that work there

We visited the small tasting room near downtown Charlottesville. There is another one south of Charlottesville. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and it all seems very cozy. They have plenty of parking! The young lady serving us was very personable, and we had fun chatting with her. Got some good intel on local restaurants to visit. The winemaker creates French and Virginia wines, and we ordered tastings of both. We thought they were all good but especially enjoyed the Virginia wines. The merlot is outstanding!

A fantastic experience. Some of the best wine in Virginia! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and just importantly the wine is incredibly delicious! Their flights provide a great way to get a taste of several of their wines, and they have a huge selection available for purchase
