This food is amazing and I feel its reasonably priced and you get a lot food. Really nice people gave me a back home feeling (Louisville Kentucky) will definitely be going back

Went there got some food went home ate my food next day my family and I was sick as a dog we all had sore throat sneezing and coughing not feeling good at all don't know if any of the cooks was sick and got to coughing and sneezing all over the food or what I never had this experience from them but for me to get be sick the next day when you was feeling fine until you ate the food is ridiculous to me

Not really one to leave reviews but I’m from Southwest Georgia and this is by far the best soul food I’ve had in ages. The portions sizes are amazing and the flavor is truly to die for. Hands down best soul food spot in the state. Worth every penny.

G H E T T O! Call as a normal customer filing a complaint about food quality. The owner cursed me out and hung up in my face. I am seven months pregnant and did not want to argue with her, so my husband called to ask if we can bring the food bag for a refund. She screamed no on the phone and hung up. When we call back to let her know, we were just going to come up there to give her the food bag. She hung up and had her unprofessional daughter called me from her personal phone who does not work at the restaurant.

They only serve liver and onions on Sunday. For the past couple of months or so, they haven't had it! Today(7/13/2025), I went to get liver n onions. She didn't have any, but she went and made some just for me!! Now THAT'S customer service!!

It's not called A-Mayes anymore, but it's the same food. It does cost more than other soul food spots not too far away, but you get a lot of food. They're always busy but it's not a long wait. I've never had any issues with my food. It's always hot and well seasoned.

The food has fell off... they were better when they were on janaf. .... the proportions not even the same

I went in and ordered well tried to for me and my family the lady said my child had to be present to get a kids meal that they already charging 11.99 for being that my kid was in the car it was a four dollar upcharge no way… they really fell off‼️ unprofessional
