We had an amazing time at Bergey’s. A friend of mine shared this gem with us and we went together and enjoyed everything from feeding the animals, picking sunflowers to the wonderful customer service on the entire farm.

Bergey’s Breadbasket is one of the hidden gems in Chesapeake, VA, and if you have visited once, there is a good chance you have visited several times.

The food is always worth the trip - the sandwiches, pot pies, seasonal pies, cupcakes, banana bread when it is in season, and of course the ice cream. And yes, the ice cream flights are a brilliant idea because choosing only one flavor feels almost unfair.
