“My husband and I went yesterday to celebrate our 19th marriage anniversary, and were highly impressed with everything from the moment we walked in. We loved sitting at the curved booth too! Our server Larry was the best! He made sure my drinks were just the way I wanted… And they don’t short you alcohol- just saying! Lol, my husband has a higher tolerance than I and mentioned it. My husband got the whole fried red snapper while I created my own little sampler out of entrees. They were the oxtail empanadas, crab cake sliders and salmon bites. It was all scrumptious! I tried my husband’s red snapper and one of his shrimp- YESSSSS!! 🤤😋🙂↕️ I even made sure to bring even the sauces home with my little bit of left-overs. Looking forward to Father’s Day brunch next month. I’ve already made reservations. 🙂↕️ Thank you to all of the staff, even to the ones we didn’t meet who made our experience that much better.“

“Walked through the outlet mall and smelled something heavenly. I had never tried Jamaican food and man I feel like I've been missing out. I got the oxtails with cabbage and rice. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The service was fast and super friendly. Can't wait to go back!!“

“I saw this place on TikTok and headed over the next day. I ordered a large portion for lunch (which was way too much food), . I ended up getting three meals out of it. Four pieces of jerk chicken (all thighs) a very large portion of delicious rice and green beans. The jerk chicken was a little strong, but it was really good and the baked the green beans were delicious. Its a small shop, not much on atmosphere but the people were friendly and they handle your order quickly. Price was fantastic for the amount of food I got. I’ll be going back very soon. I want to try their mac & cheese next time.“

“Food was great, no notes. Ordered a 3 meals: 1 curry chicken snack with mac, 1 small curry chicken meal with Mac and green beans, and 1 small jerk with rice and peas and green beans. We arrived later in the day so they were out of a few sides but we enjoyed our meals. They also gave us some chicken soup.
Ordered at the bar and waited for them to call our name. Portion sizes were very generous. My family agreed we would definitely eat here again.“

“There is no Jamaican restaurant in Hampton Roads that can top MP's Norfolk!! As a person who is a pescetarian it's of grate pleasure to see more delicious choices to meet my dietary needs. “Our first visit after fellow workers brought back lunch and I saw the food and portions, it looked and smelled great! I took my family there for lunch on Saturday, everything was excellent, they were slightly busy, yet they greeted us with a smile, asked if it was our first visit? They helped us by telling us about all the food, which was plentiful and had great taste. We all had Jerk Chicken white meat with 2 sides, green beans and sweet potato. I recommend completely!“

“Shout out to Yummo Bucko! A party of 4 we all spent close to $100, please know a 15% gratutity is added to each person no matter the size of group. This place will fill up fast (small and quaint), opens at noon on Sunday. I checked online to see if reservations could be set up and didnt see where that was an option, upon entering we were asked if we had a reservation. Even though we didnt we were told to select wherever we wanted to sit.
Food ordered: Sampler - grits where stiff and saudage links appeared and tasted as if straight out of (brown & serve box)
Fried shrimp - seasoned well and fried perfect
Eggs Benedict (2x) - one with fried, one scrambled it comes with two crab cakes and 2 lamb chops (lamb chops were supposed to be grilled medium well. Lamb chops was a new born baby lamb chop and so tough to bite)
Side order of original French Toast - ( one piece of bread cut in half $6.00)
Lamb chop brunch meal - comes with 3 lamb chops, smothered in brown gravy (I missed that part on the menu, I just wanted med well grilled lamb chops which came out the same as above. The menu stated mashed potates came with; however received cheesy grits with lobster meat. NO on the grits and the lobster was OK).
Lemon Pepper wings to go - brought order out and gave to the wrong person with no bag, just plopped down and walked away.
4 Mimosas which was ok.
Will we try this place again??? - Possibly on another day, just not BRUNCH.“

“I drive all the way from Norfolk and honestly, this isn’t even my first time — I come here a lot! FruitSplash Factory never misses. Every time I walk in, the customer service is warm, friendly, and consistent, and the food is always fresh and full of flavor.
The drinks are amazing, the food stays top-tier, and the quality never changes no matter when I come. I love that they really take their time with everything they make — you can taste the care in every order.
This has definitely become one of my go-to spots, and I’ll keep making the drive because it’s always worth it. Highly recommend! 💕“
