“We love Pollard’s at London Bridge Shopping Center, they are a staple in our monthly eating out rotation! Delicious fried chicken that is always hot and fresh which does require a small wait but never long. All of the sides are awesome that I’ve tried so far, potato salad, macaroni salad, mixed greens, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cole slaw. The puffs that come with the chicken meals are delicious and the perfect sweet compliment with the honey to the savory food. Their hot sauce for their condiments is awesome too! Also shout out to them because we called them when my husband forgot to grab a gallon of sweet tea that we ordered with our meal and they refunded it to my card since my husband forgot it! Best chicken in Virginia Beach, the 757, and definitely one of the best in Virginia, my comfort food!“
“Chef by Design is absolutely fabulous. Marcy, Emily and the whole team. Everything was PERFECT on our wedding day and darn good food is such an important part of that we wouldn’t have trusted anyone other than Chef by design. We knew about them from being such a staple in the area and then choosing The Neon on House as our reception venue. They were wonderful at pivoting during Covid and changing our wedding to a small backyard setting, even honoring our request to use my moms crystal and china. The menu was inventive like a progressive garden party dinner with many courses that encouraged good conversation and a relaxed vibe. My mom worked closely with them and we will continue to for our big bash/belated reception in March. We even used them at Easter time and for my bachelorette party. They’re true seasoned pros and keep it fresh. Delish food. Never disappoints. I can’t WAIT to see what inventive food displays they come up with for March. Thank you guys soooo much for the perfect day!!!“

“Goodrich catered our wedding and I couldn’t have been more impressed! From the planning process all the way through the execution of the day, Lauren and her staff truly took our experience to the next level. She accommodated each of our requests and made sure we felt like our day was catered to us. The staff also was top notch. They ensured our drinks were full all night and even watched out for our immediate family and their requests too — it was amazing! Not to mention, the food selections were truly incredible. Our entire guest list was raving about how delicious everything was and how simple yet unique the offerings were. I couldn’t say enough good things about Goodrich! I highly recommend!“

“Mike and Jacob set up at our family home for an engagement party oyster roast. They provided all the accoutrements, oysters raw and steamed, and even delicious barbecue sandwiches! I was amazed at the amount of equipment they set up - it was a true oyster roast! The cooks were so kind and accommodating and our guests only had the best things to say about them.
I made my initial inquiry with Ariel, the President of the company, and she was so helpful in drafting up a menu that fit my vision. I am so thankful they were a part of my engagement party and I recommend Mobile Pig-Nic Catering 10000%! I hope we can have them back for another event in the future!“
“My husband and I worked with Lauren from Taste, and she was an absolute gem to work with. She was so responsive and on top of everything, and made the process so easy for us! She was also so flexible with catering to our wants and needs. The tastings were absolutely amazing and they always went above and beyond. We tried the steak tacos, birria tacos, pork pupusa, pork empanada, and chicken quesadilla.
The empanada was SO crunchy, with a golden crunch. The filling what’s ample meat with chunks of potato that add a layer to texture that balances the crunchiness of the fried exterior.
The birria tacos have a rich flavor with an appropriate level of salt. The first thing I taste in the broth is BEEF–pure and rich, complemented by the melted cheese. A squeeze of lime cheese cuts through the richness of the beef and broth.
The pupusa is large, with a crispy exterior (when fresh), tender on the inside, with a complementary tart tomato sauce.
Our toddlers destroyed the chicken quesadilla. So must be great as well.“
“Is this place still open? Came by today Saturday 8/9/25 at 6:45pm and the business isn’t open. I remember when they were located at the BP gas station on Frederick Blvd. My mom used to take me as a kid over 20 years ago. I recently found out they had a restaurant and wanted to check them out.“
“I have ordered from Cj twice. I love the braised collard greens and the Virgin Mimosa top with raspberries! It is so delicious!! It is nice to have a private chef to come to your house and cook for you, without the wait time and annoying long stand in the line . I had an gourment meal at home in a nice quiet place, without the all the holiday nose and chaos.“

“Y'all. Two weeks into meal delivery from Boxed Gourmet, and this busy professional can't say enough great things! The food is absolutely delicious, and the convenience can't be beat. It's like someone left me these magical leftovers which are perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. Hello Fresh-type kits don't really work for me ‐ still more prep and cook time than I'm typically inclined to deal with on a week night. This has been the perfect solution!“
“There are truly no words that can explain how amazing the food tastes. A lot of places cook to feed you, but this truck cooks to touch your soul. I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed “besides when I get everything on the menu and over eat” 😅.“
