Food was awesome and well seasoned. Its definitely like someones grandma is in the kitchen. The prices match the food and service. My only suggestions would be to add more sugar to the sweet tea ( I like sugar water lol) and to cut the turkey wings in half. It could save on waste. They were huge. I wanted to taste them but it was no way I could eat a whole one along with the other food. Everything really was awesome. I am planning a trip for my family to go back.
Don't be fooled by the outside or inside decor, the food is what counts. I'm a whiteboy that grew up in Portsmouth, my wife is from Brooklyn. We live in NC and was in town for business. Anybody that grew up in Portsmouth knows where Rodmans was, Coopers is in the strip shops in the back.We were there for lunch.I grew up eating these southern classics. I've eaten everything on their buffet at one time or another. But today, the Wings and Fish were my main protein....
