HotPot 757 Chesapeake Reviews
I visited on yesterday. I arrived at 8:58 PM. I searched the web and saw that the restaurant closed at 10:30 PM. Only to arrive and be told that they were going to stop sending food back to the kitchen at 9:15pm. The bar was already halfway closed and there were wet signs all around. They had began cleaning the restaurant and had a big portion of the restaurant blocked off. The floors were super sticky. That in itself was a hazard. HotPot 757 Chesapeake is a restaurant where customers can enjoy hot pot and Korean barbecue (KBBQ) at reasonable prices. The food and flavors are highly rated. Emily is a great server who makes first-time visitors feel welcome and explains how everything works. Customers appreciate the helpful and attentive staff, which includes Nate Dogg and Chenyan, who go above and beyond to make the experience memorable. The hot pot portion of the food is really great, and the fruits on the salad bar are always juicy and perfectly ripe. The hot pot and KBBQ options are enjoyed by many, though service can be inconsistent depending on the section or server. Making a reservation for large groups is recommended.
For those with dietary restrictions, there are plenty of options available, but the sauce bar could be improved as it tends to be messy and disorganized. It would be helpful to have gluten-free soy sauce and clearer explanations of the different sauces. Better communication about food allergies, especially with the hot pot broth, could enhance safety. Additional utensils and a tablet for individual ordering could prevent contamination and add convenience. Overall, customers love the food, and with some adjustments to service, HotPot 757 Chesapeake could offer an even better dining experience for everyone. Parking is ample and easy to find.
