IHOP in Chesapeake

“Day after Thanksgiving and nobody was in there when we arrived. Waitress was nice, and food was ordered quickly. People started to come in shortly after us, but we were first looks like it. Now, 45 minutes later, we are being told sorry for the wait they didn't have any pancake batter for my pancakes. They bought the rest of the food out, including my wifes Waffles. Now I ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but can't you use the same batter for both. Maybe it's me. Either way, she bought out the pancakes almost after I ate my food. The waitress comped the pancakes so no complaints there, but it was an hour after we ordered before I got something that takes 4 and a half minutes to cook. Overall the waitress was very nice and for that we will come back. PS they do need to upgrade the place some. The seats were horrible.“

“Food was delicious, unfortunately it took awhile for getting seated and to have our food. However, Kimberly was killing it out there, running the whole table waiting operation by herself! All the while being as sweet as can be, if it was solely based on her performance it would've been an easy 5 stars, but this location needs to hire more waiters for dinner hours. At times, a cook even had to come out and help with the tables, don't think you went unnoticed man, wish I could've gotten your name so I could commend you. Ihop, give this location some more hands!“
