it was overall… okay. their prices have gone up significantly in the last 5 years (inflation ugh). the service was great, atmosphere was warm, inviting, and everything you’d want from a sushi restaurant. however, i went for lunch (wednesday afternoon, it was very slow, only two other tables being served) and you can only get about 1/2 the menu as most of the menu was dinner only. so no kani salad or sashimi was being served around the time i went, also some chefs specials...
This place is absolutely amazing, the food is all you can eat style and almost everything that comes out of the kitchen is absolutely amazing tasting, food is a bit spendy but for an all you can eat it's pretty good if you can eat alot. Absolutely fantastic
It's always a treat to have a meal at Kagura. The all-you-can-eat dinner (or lunch) is my favorite way to enjoy a variety of well loved Japanese dishes, along with trying something new. Terrific service and a good price!
