Not as good as it used to be but still a decent dinner and show. The restaurant is very worn down, it hasn't had any sort of renovations/upgrades in the 15 years I've been coming here. Bowls, plates, spoons, carpet, chairs, all still the same. You can tell from how worn all of it is, including the bowls, and they're plastic (actually everything aside from the forks are) so if that's a concern for you definitely avoid.
We sometimes have excessively long wait times if we're the first to be seated at a table. They should not have made us wait for the entire table to fill this last time. We got there about 7:20 ,didnt get app until 8, and didn't leave until after 8:45, with no lingering. Just a really long time especially when you're paying for a sitter.
Floors (very worn down carpet) are always a little bit sticky, same with the table and chairs.
Hvac intake vents always look dirty, as well.
They also recently switched from coke to pepsi which was very disappointing but at least they got new cups from pepsi for it.
4 stars for the food - again, not as good as it used to be and noticeably smaller portions.
3 stars for service - servers were quite attentive but we should not have had such a long wait time to food. Do not recommend for smaller groups/couples because of this. 3 stars for the chef - they're just not as enthusiastic as they used to be.
1 star for atmosphere - as addressed, it's very run down and just feels (and looks) dirty.
Japanese egg rolls are still great, highly recommend those.

Delicious as always, and the chefs are great :-)
The location still needs a refresh for the interior design, but overall great experience

Amazing service!!! Staff was very accommodating and was very transparent when I wanted to celebrate a birthday. Signs were out up front at host stand that allowed us to plan accordingly ahead of time and helped make things go smooth. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the host stand especially!!
Customer service is nonexistent. First time we booked a birthday party there but because two people were not there on time we were refused. Thought we would give it another try today and even though the restaurant was almost dead and not even close to closing, since one person wasn’t there in three minutes, we were refused yet again. Do you not want customers especially when the restaurant was dead???? We will NOT be giving you a third chance.

Used to really enjoy Kyoto’s. The last two times we went we had the same chef. Older gentleman with red chef hat. Both times having urgent bathroom issues within 30 mins of eating. Chef cross contaminating continually touching raw food then cooked food throughout the entire experience.

Took about 30 minutes from sitting to hibachi chef arrival. Fry rice a bit salty. Asked for birthday song and sang at the wrong group plus it was after we had our to go box ready, all late.
Food was great and our chef was very lively!

Chefs are always amazing and the wait staff is great. It gets a little quiet sometimes and being a hibachi style sitting makes conversation a little awkward because you can hear other party member conversations clearly at the table you are sitting at, as well as the ones next to you. Aside from that, this is a hibachi go-to. Wonderful spot!
Omg I had such a great time… you want to hear something funny I was sat with a family and why did we ALL SHARE THE SAME LAST NAME!!!!! Different ethnic background but now we are Family
Everything here was kind of subpar, but I enjoyed it.
Dingy and dirty, outdated place. Small serving of poorly seasoned rice, and they charge extra for getting fried rice which is wild since it is a hibachi place. The steak was chewy and fatty and flavorless. The veggies had shredded cabbage and tiny pieces of zucchini, which is not typical of places like this. Most hibachi grills give everyone a couple pieces of shrimp as an appetizer, not the case here. Overall this place has turned into a dump with very subpar food for the price. Very disappointing.
Chef was great, good humor, great at bis craft. Was my wife's first time at hibachi style. She loved it. Always great type of dining to meet new people and to briefly share life. Food as always great 👍 thanks
