The coffee is pretty good, however, you can tell the workers have their favorites.

So freaking good! Nice bathrooms, very clean. It’s such a lovely place to hangout, came there the first time and it was delicious! Highly recommend the Toffee & Cinnamon, it’s not overbearing! Kind baristas too! Perfect place for the heat (and i’m even sure cold too) I got decaf but it was delicious. God bless a solid coffee place ?Kid-friendliness: lots of space!

This place has always been an amazing place to hang out and the coffee is top tier. The company partners with great veterans groups as well which is always putting a good foot forward. But this review is for the fact that I moved to AZ and still can’t find the perfect coffee for the shelves in my own house. So I ordered up 3 bags of pale horse and it got here quick! They even threw in a couple stickers and a note of thanks - so thank you for the personal touch.

We love Pale Horse. More true sugar free options would be great. Yes, there are lots of combinations with the syrups but the base used is not sugar free (unless changed in the last 2 months). Spikes my blood sugar and makes me sick. I highly recommend the Torani Sugar free dark chocolate sauce, it’s makes great hot and iced. We still stop in for the espresso beans in the meantime.

Pale horse has the best coffee around. They have great friendly service and a comfortable military atmosphere.

One of my favorite places for coffee. Every cup has a great flavor. Not too sweet and every different flavor I have tried has been great. All the staff is friendly and feel like immediate friends. The atmosphere can be a bit loud at times but for the most part I have enjoyed sitting with friends and having a chat over a great latte. They have tables for studying and couches for lounging. Definitely check it out if you haven't been!

Always great, whether we're grabbing a 5lbs bag of beans, or swinging through on a Friday morning for my son's Decaf Guardian. Thanks!

First time here and ordered The Guardian. The Guardian has salted caramel and vanilla flavors which intrigued me since those are my 2 go-to flavors! I was hoping that the coffee would be strong and keep my tired butt awake... it did just that. I was pleased with the quality of the coffee. It was rich and bold! As someone who is boycotting and is tired of Starbucks, I needed something local that is close to my parents' house when I visit Chesapeake. This is one of my best friend's favorite place to go so why did I never try this place? I think it's just because it's a little bit further than the closest Starbucks location. However, I will definitely take that extra 2 minutes down the road for another cup of coffee. I think that Pale Horse is 100% worth it. The plus side for me is that it is veteran-owned and pet-friendly! Not that I'm either but I have veterans in my family and have friends who want to bring their pets on coffee dates. So what a perfect spot to grab coffee with a loved one!! I did not go inside because my daughter was knocked out on my lap. I sent my brother inside instead who said that the atmosphere was a vibe and had a typical coffeehouse feel to it. I'm definitely returning in December when I'm back in town!!

We come for their coffee beans. They don't offer sugar free drinks so we can't partake in their prepared. The powder that they use is full of sugar. Y'all just need some sugar free sauce and it would open a world of sugar free options.

I always look forward to my morning coffee, but I've never been excited for my next huff of fresh ground beans or a specific brand of coffee. Pale Horse changed that, and it changed me. Can't recommend this coffee enough. Support a local, veteran owned company and experience amazing coffee roasted and prepared in Chesapeake.

My husband and I, love, love, love everything you offer and everything you stand for. Like my grandma would say, if you have nothing nice say, don’t say anything at all.
