I originally rated this 5 stars because the pizza is delicious. However last time we called for take out whoever answered the phone was trying to overcharge us. We asked the new prices of the items and when given to us, they didn't add up to the total we were told- it was about $14 off (so way more than taxes would be). Unfortunately, we will not be going back.
Sal’s at all their locations have good lunch specials. I was craving pizza and they have a lunch special with two slices and a drink. The place was slow but the pizza was good. Sal’s serves traditional NY style pizza. I had one slice mushroom and the other sausage. Delicious!
I was very nervous about ordering due to some bad reviews but man am I happy I ignored them and ordered anyway! I’m originally from Massachusetts and we have some great pizza places. I’ve had some luck finding good pizza here but nothing that reminds me of home. It’s all about the crust for me! So anyway I had a craving for cheese pizza so I ordered from Sal’s.
