Really like this place. I've had various lattes, their sausage biscuit, and the bacon burrito. Coffee is good, and the food is good and tastes light and fresh. Taxus is located inside a brewery so you get the brewery vibe with an outdoor area, tons of windows, and high ceilings. Most of the seating is high-top tables. The barista is very pleasant. Would recommend!
This experience was fair, they close at 12:00pm most days, so any evening shoppers won’t be able to visit, but definitely great for early birds. Travel is frustrating, especially if your coming from Va Beach.I had the Shakerato, and a carrot muffin.The muffin is light, flavors are simple, not overpowering, nor hard to taste.Coffee is lightly sweet, with the condensed milk.Atmosphere is more for large parties, not really for relaxing. Latte had barely any pumpkin flavor but overall the latte was good. Would’ve just liked a little more pumpkin flavor and overall sweetness.
