The food is always great, try the fish tacos, fajitas, or the California burrito, the staff is hit or miss. Some are great but some have the personality of a rock. Happy hour with cheap margaritas makes up for it.

Really enjoyed our meals this evening. The made-at-your-table Guacamole was superb. The Flautas and Carnitas were very tasty and portion size means we have lunch for tomorrow too. Salsa was a bit ketchupy in flavor and texture. That was the only off-note of the evening.

I live in Charlotte, NC and anytime I’m passing through Richmond, I make it a point to stop at The Patron for lunch or dinner—and always take food home for later. The food is consistently great and the service is even better. Nancy is our server and she’s wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel welcome. If you stop by, ask for Nancy!
