I was excited to find a non-chain restaurant in the area and was very pleased with the pizza! It is well done Neapolitan style, so smaller and lighter on the cheese, but still very filling. Good quality ingredients and a simple bright red sauce. They have a wider variety of pizzas than I see at most beer focused places. They have a large wine selection and a few NA options as well.
I went on their 2 for $20 night, I got the Margherita pizza and the fig and goat. Both were fantastic and full of flavor. It was not busy when I got there so the pizza was done in no time. I also tried the strawberry cider they had on tap and it was delicious. The service was amazing, very nice waiter who was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and other local breweries/food!
The best Neopolitan pizza I have tried in VA.
