Great location out on the screened deck, watching the wildlife on the creek. The server was very kind and prompt. The food and drinks were delicious and my only negative was that I wish had known about it earlier so I could have went more than once!

Creamy crab soup was delicious as was the seafood diavolo.

We had fine food. The salmon was great, and the crab soup was worth it by itself.

Tucked away near the peaceful horse country of Chico Teague, AJ’s Creek House is an unexpected gem with serious flavor. I had the tuna sesame orange and wow, it was perfectly done. Fresh, flavorful, and plated like they knew it was going to be remembered. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and addictive, and the lobster mac & cheese? Rich, creamy, and totally indulgent in the best way.

I tried the pear martini, a nostalgic favorite I hadn’t had in ages. The only thing missing was a bit of outdoor seating to soak in the Carolina air, especially being so close to the horses and countryside charm. But honestly? The food and drinks more than made up for it.

Would absolutely go back

A lovely locals restaurant with a tourist vibe. I had read previous reviews saying it was upscale and casual and that hits it pretty much spot on. Terrific food friendly service and reasonable prices. Try it and make sure you add the lobster mac and cheese and delicious crispy brussel sprouts you won't regret it 👍

The chef at AJs is outstanding! I had the seafood pappardelle, it had shrimp and big chunks of crab in a delicious, lemony sauce. My husband had the lamb which was roasted to perfection with smashed potatoes and a lovely glacé. You can’t go wrong with dinner at AJs after a day at the beach.

Great food, good service, and decent prices. You must have the Cream of Crab Soup. It's amazing.

Great dinner...everything was perfectly cooked and more importantly, seasoned! Enjoyed my dinner at the bar and can't wait to go back. There is not anything on the menu that I would not eat!

The food is high priced and was okay. The oysters needed to be cleaned better, gritty.

Amazing brunch!! We’ve been coming here for years and has always been great!

Everything we ate was delicious. There were many options that looked appealing, but would have had more dairy than I can eat. Fortunately, the shrimp scampi was excellent. It can sometimes be treated like a throwaway and thumis wasn't. My husband loved the lamb chops and macaroni and cheese side.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the coconut shrimp, crab cakes, and seafood imperial which was SOO good! We will definitely return to AJ’s when we’re in the area

I think Aj’s has the highest quality plates on Chincoteague Island. The chef puts forward fancy yum dishes. But also the prices are not more than other places on Chincoteague. So I would recommend AJ’s for either a nice casual get together at the bar or a table reservation for fancy date night. We had the salmon in saffron sauce and the seafood medley over angel hair pasta. Plus a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and warm bread basket with butter. The bartenders were friendly and fun. I loved the company at the bar as well. Good people all around.
