We had plans to go to dinner at another restaurant in Chincoteague while on vacation until our boat tour captain told us Captain Zack's had the best crab cakes he had ever had. Locals recommendations are always a must do for us and as usual, we were glad we listened! The food here was phenomenal- we had coconut shrimp, oysters Rockefeller, and clams casino - all were delicious. I got the blackened crab cake platter (recommended by our boat captain) and he was right - they were perfection. Next time we come to Chincoteague we will definitely be stopping here again!

This place was recommended by a local (shoutout to Hunter from the Cowboy Cruise Company whom was my tour guide in the morning...y'all should go on the pony tours for sure). We got The Sandbar (aka seafood tower) and a platter of fried clams with fries and old bay potato chips. The fries weren't that good but the potato chips were homemade and yummy. The clam strips were (9/10) and the seafood tower was a 9.5/10! There is a bar in the center of the restaurant or you have options to sit at one of the many tables they have. Only regret is not trying the fried oysters, fried calamari, and literally everything else on the menu (we ordered too much and couldn't finish everything anyway). Definitely a go-to!

Food was okay, for me everyone else enjoyed shrimp ? ?, I don't eat. My ? taco was okay, was missing alot. I'm allergic to tomatoes. All I had was fish and cabbage. The waitress was awesome ? atmosphere nice, staff friendly ? ? give it a try.Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter 10 liked her food!
Casual dining place for good foods and fun vibes.Such a delicious foods, drinks, and cakes. Seafood pizza was sooooo good. I was going to get more seafood pizzas before heading to home, but they were closed on Tuesday.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere is great! Staff overall is super friendly and personable. The appetizer we got was a little pricey for the quantity. Other than that, highly impressed with this restaurant. They always have a crazy long wait and I see why! We will definitely be back!!!

Family of 4 in town for Easter weekend. Really enjoyed this place so much that we went twice for dinner. Atmosphere is fun and relaxed and kid-friendly. Staff is friendly and very responsive. Menu has a lot of choices and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The crab cakes are excellent and there is no filler. Husband loved the fresh oysters and said it was the best potato salad ever. Get a grapefruit crush too - delicious!
