Classic ‘70’s diner food and atmosphere. The menu was extensive and the food was tasty for a quick breakfast. There are no windows inside which made the interior feel a bit dark and gloomy. Service was friendly and prompt.

Had dinner here the service was fine but the food was underwhelming. My wife order a roasted turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing. It was just slice deli meat turkey and a small amount of stuffing (dressing). I ordered the oven baked meatloaf with gravy. The meat loaf was super mushy about the texture of mashed potatoes, it was completely unappetizing.. Both my wife and I also had nasty heartburn a few hours later.

Very amazing place. Right in the entrance to the beach it’s a great place to stop before or after a day at the beach. The food was really good, the scrapple tasted like it was deep fried, that was really good! The portions are large and cheap. Typical diner style setting, just what you need if you are trying to save a little money while on vacation. Plenty of parking and there is adequate seating.

Nothing but good things to say about the local diner. Hometown feel, great prices, personable staff and the food comes out quickly! The waitress brought out coloring books and a crayon/ marker bin to keep our toddlers entertained. You won’t be disappointed with Chincoteague diner!

Staying across the street at the Refuge Inn and was in walking distance to get breakfast! Are waiter was good and are food came out great and fast! They had a great kids meal for my granddaughter which she ate most of it! Are meals were also good and everything came out hot!

There was some confusion with the servers when we had first got there. Another table that had just walked in was taken before us and we had been sitting there for at least 15 minutes but everything after that was phenomenal. Food was great. We sat on their patio so there was a nice breeze coming through. Very relaxing. The waitress that did help us was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. And she was very apologetic about the situation.

We were quite disappointed with this "diner". The food was just alright. The mozzarella sticks were about the cheapest tasting I have had, and for $10 not worth it. The burger tasted like a frozen Bubba burger taken straight out of the freezer and then over cooked. Nothing special at all. Honestly about as good as the McDs across the street. The service was ok, but it didn't feel like they really cared. As for calling this a diner, well it's not.

If I could give this place a zero O definitely would! The restaurant is absolutely disgusting. Please all visitors you are better off starving then choosing this dump! Note to the manager or owner clean your disgusting filthy kitchen, you are going to get some very sick.

We ate here a few nights ago. It was raining and we were camping with our dog so we needed a place that offered outdoor dining with cover and were excited to see that they had a screened in porch. Unfortunately that's as good as it gets. The place wasn't busy at all, but our waiter seemed in a rush and honestly gave us the impression that he was annoyed that we were even there. I ordered the ravioli because I figured it would be enough to eat as well as enough to share a bit with my toddler (let's be honest, usually pasta dishes leave us feeling like we're gonna burst). Well when my food arrived I was disappointed with the tiny bowl of ravioli I was served. It was hardly enough for me let alone enough to share. My husband ordered the gyro and he also felt it was not enough (pretty sure he said there was just like 3 slices of meat inside and a tiny helping of fries). Needless to say we had to pop over the McDonald's across the street after to get more food before returning to our campsite because this wasn't enough food to satisfy. And it wasn't cheap either, my meal was about $17 and I was still hungry... That's not ok. The waiter also forgot my side salad but brought it when I reminded him. Nonetheless, I'll never be dining here again. So disappointing.

Place was a nice/cute restaurant. Food was 4 out of 5 for me went here twice while I was in Virginia.... first time the food wasn't that great and I didn't end up eating much of it. 2nd time going back for breakfast it was A LOT BETTER!!! The scrapple was ON POINT!!! The breakfast was on point and really good too!!! Service was on point, just the atmosphere depending on the time is either great and has the restaurant feel with customers talking and such but other times like the 1st time we went to this restaurant it was very quiet and not busy at all and just felt off a little bit, but overall good restaurant to go to!!!

Our server was outstanding!! She was able to remember the orders for our group of 14 without writing it down, and she had the best personality !! I'm only sorry I can not remember her name. I do know she works at Ledo's also.

We ate a very late lunch or early dinner at around 4pm on Thursday. It was us and another couple in the entire restaurant. The waitress was very kind and recommended the turkey rueben (it's not on the menu, but it should be). I loved it. It had the right ratio of turkey, sauerkraut, Swiss, and thousand island. The kids ordered French toast and hamburger from the kids' menu. Both were HUGE and tasty. The fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The place was clean, had cold A/C, and an option to sit in a screened in patio (without A/C). The waitress was attentive and accommodating. She even told us about feeding the ponies across the street. I would definitely make a stop here again.

Worst vibe in this place. Everyone looked miserable, including the guests. We waited by the host stand to be seated. Several employees walked by and never greeted us. The only eye contact I received was the death stare from one employee. Immediately left. I don’t get this island, it’s like they don’t want your money.
