Never again..over priced for what you get. I had a cheeseburger. Over seasoned and salty, on a stale bun hard ends and falling apart couldn't even eat it . We also order hot beef sandwiche that was super salty. Only thing we both agreed on that was good were the fries..burger ruined it for me..☹️

Let me preface by saying I’ve been coming to the island every year since I was a kid. Mr Baldy’s was my favorite place to go simply because of the Yellow Submarine atmosphere. Not sure if they’re under new management, but imagine my disappointment when I walked in this year and it’s all been painted grey. We went at 11:30 for lunch, but lunch doesn’t get served until noon. Overall pretty disappointed in this remodel.

It was good for what it is. Definitely just a hole in the wall kind of place. Waitresses were nice and the food was your average diner food nothing to note. I'd go again in a pinch.

I loved the tables, with interactive notes from past customers. But the food itself was just okay, and a bit overpriced, in my opinion. By the time we added drinks and two sides, we ended up spending $20 per person (even for kids). I didn't think it was worth it.

The people are nice but this is not a restaurant to eat at for a vacationing family paying Chincoteague prices. The food was mediocre and there was little attention paid to taste or quality. The kids’ meals were fine—they did their Junior Ranger workbooks and were happy the whole time. The parent meals were a struggle to get through. This is a local joint for local folks to meet and talk. Stay closer to Maddox if you’re from out of town.

Our omelets were good, but the home fries need to be made fresh! I don't eat pork so I like that they have turkey bacon/sausage, however, they need to use a better quality product. The toast didn't come buttered and by the time I got some butter my toast was cold. It was dark with very minimal lighting & they need a serious remodel! Our waitress was very nice.
